When designing your memorial, there are many aspects to consider. Once you have chosen a memorial style, you can then think about granite colors, engraving styles, or etchings. You can further customize your memorial with a ceramic photo or adding flower vases.

Engraving Styles
Engraving styles vary by personal preference but are also based on your granite color and memorial selection. Flat carving is the most common engraving style and can be done on all styles and colors of stones. Flat carving uses light sanding on the surface with a deep cut outline which is often painted black to heighten the contrast. Deep carving can be done where the surface is cut and the outline is left polished. These deep cut areas can then be painted to heighted contrast as well; usually used with dark or very light stone colors. Shape carving is used to give depth to floral aspects of upright monument styles. These are also done on all colors of granite.
Ceramic Photos
Ceramic photos are a great way to really showcase your loved one and provide a lasting memory for future generations. Have your favorite photograph permanently transferred onto a porcelain plaque and then embedded into the memorial. Available in color or black & white and in many shapes and sizes.
Etching
Etchings are a great option if you are considering a black granite color for your memorial. Our impact etchings can add more details compared to traditional engraving and are an excellent way to add scenic creations or photo renditions to your memorial.
Vases, Flowers, and Plant Stands
